Hello everone, been a while. I had stepped away for some time to really reflect and think about why I wasn't enjoying my time. The site and its people, on all sides, has been quite enjoyable. But I found myself lacking in enjoyment. And I felt it wasn't fair to others to try to engage with them if I wasn't firing at full potential. It took me a while to realize it but, I realized the issue was with me.
I had fallen into the trap of thinking that I needed to do my best to fit some idea some people might have, instead of embracing who I was. Ir can happen to the best of us. So I'm here today to say that I am back, and happier than ever with who I am. Please, feel free to message me. I would love to have another shot at all this.
It sometimes surprises me how much simple wisdom my m****r conveyed to me as a c***d, in this case, “Just be yourself.” I still don’t really know why that can be so hard to do, but I am as guilty as anyone of trying to fake it.
